Autumn School Series in Acoustics (ASSA2021)
Eindhoven, The Netherlands, 7 – 11 November 2022

This is the first session of a yearly-returning one-week, post-graduate Ph.D. level, acoustic school which will be held at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) organized by the Building Acoustics group of the TU/e. The themes of the school will change every two years and each year there will be two parallel schools during the same week. The themes of the 2022 edition are:
    •   Theoretical and Physical Acoustics
    •   Building and Room Acoustics.

Joint Acoustics Conference: EUROREGIO/BNAM2022

BNAM is the biennial Baltic-Nordic Acoustics Meeting (organised by the Nordic Acoustic Association); this year it is combined with the EUROREGIO (organized by the European Acoustics Association). The joint conference is open to anybody interested in the field of acoustics, noise and vibration. The conference programme consists of key-note lectures, invited and contributed papers in structured parallel sessions and an exhibition. The conference is preceded by the Young Forum during 7 – 8 May 2022, which is a two-day training school for junior scientists.

Meetings of the Acoustical Society of America in 2022

The Society holds two meetings each year, most of which are held at various locations in the USA and Canada. At each meeting, invited and contributed papers and poster presentations usually number between 800 and 1100, and they reflect the diversity and interests of the membership. Tutorials, lectures, technical and standards committee meetings, and visits to university, government, and industrial laboratories are regular features, along with receptions and a variety of social programs. These meetings offer opportunities for students and young researchers as well as experienced acousticians to share information. Meetings in 2022 are:

Webinar Series on Critical Transitions on Complex Systems

This webinar series is a joint initiative between IIT Madras, India and Potsdam Institute for Climate Research (PIK), Germany and aims to disseminate the state-of-the-art in complex systems theory. It brings together experts from a wide variety of fields such as physics, ecology, climate science, engineering, who have bridged scientific disciplines and led the way in developing and applying aspects of complex systems theory to real-life problems. The Webinar Series will present an opportunity to foster collaborations and promote interactions among young researchers and experts.
