Giovanni Campa obtained a PhD in mechanical engineering from the Politecnico di Bari in 2012. He carried out most of his PhD research in collaboration with Ansaldo Energia, which focused on the investigation of thermo-acoustic instabilities in industrial gas turbine combustion chambers. He is currently combustion designer in Ansaldo Energia in the aero-combustion CFD design team with expertise in modeling thermo-acoustic phenomena in industrial gas turbine configurations.
